To Brasil

Brasil, spelt with an ’s’ and not a ‘z’ as the people from the country would recommend, was on my list of places to visit for a long time and when an opportunity presented itself, I was all up for it.

The journey started with a shocker when I reached the airport ahead of time and the Emirates staff told me that my flight was delayed by many hours!! This meant that I was going to be missing my subsequent connecting flights from Dubai etc.

Not good news at all!! 😢 I had to check into the lounge, get some sleep, and wait out the delay. It was painful, to say the least. Anyways, there wasn’t any other option.

Finally, the flight did start and my journey began, a long trip to the other side of the world 😄 After multiple hops at Dubai and Sao Paulo, I reached Recife. Went straight to the hotel and crashed.
